Setting the tone for your holiday décor begins with the perfect holiday bow. Don’t be limited to pre-made bows in colours or patterns you don’t want – create your own perfect bow in a few easy steps.

Devon Phair of Bradford Greenhouses, will tell you that all you need is ribbon, scissors and a little bit of florist wire.

First, begin by establishing the length of ribbon you want for the tail of the bow, then start with the first loop, weaving the ribbon back and forth while holding the ribbon in place.

As you get closer to what will become the centre of the bow, your loops should get smaller.

Once you’ve reached your desired size of bow, place the florist wire on the centre of the bow, flip it upside down, and twist the wire tightly to secure.

Then, you simply fluff out the loops to create a full, beautiful bow.
