Customize your holiday tablescape to fit your table and décor

A custom holiday centerpiece provides a wonderful focal point for your table and can also provide lovely fresh scent. This year, create your very own tablescape, customized to the size of your table, with a few natural items that can be found at your local nursery.

Devon Phair of Bradford Greenhouses suggests you use fresh greenery such as pine, cedar or balsam, large pomegranates or fresh fruit (dried or artificial), birch poles and large sugar or pine cones.

When starting your tablescape, begin by overlapping your fresh greenery down the center of your table, creating a runner effect. Next, take your birch poles sand stack them on top. Lastly, incorporate your large cones sand work them into the tablescape, adding them in and amongst the birch and cedar pieces.

The final touch is placing the fruit, on top of the greenery.
