Learning English creates confidence

New to Canada, Zinnia Ramirez found it difficult to communicate with the people around her. Armed with a desire to speak proper English with those people, she knew she wanted to learn the language. But as a full time order picker and forklift driver with Pareto Corporation, she wasn’t able to enroll in full time studies to learn the English language.

That’s when she turned to Seneca College and the part time studies in English. “I have a family that needs my attention and support,” Ramirez explains, so “part time studies is the only choice that I have.”
