Building school projects, sports banners and sale signs is fun, but spicing them up with Project Popperz will really add pizzazz. This complete product line from Elmer’s offers students, teachers and parents alike plenty of pieces that will make any project “a little more exciting than just simply using markers and pencil crayons” says Elmer’s product manager, Alicia Buter.

Perfect for classroom and school project use, Buter says Project Poppers can also be used to make signs for garage, yard or bake sales as well as birthday cards and sports banners for enthusiastic fans who want to cheer on their team. The full line includes letters and numbers, boarders, various shapes, markers and reusable stencils.

To make a bake sale sign, Buter says you’ll want to start with a large piece of Elmer’s foam board, which can be cut in half to make smaller signs. Using graphic elements such as cupcake and cookie shapes, you can add boarders to frame the sign.

Buter notes that “the boarders are repositionable, as are the numbers and letters and what that means is you can put them into place on your board by just peeling and sticking, making sure that is exactly where you want to put it.”

Once the letters are positioned correctly into words, you can permanently glue each piece into place on the board.

The markers are available in two types: dual colour tipped, which save space in a pencil case and have a wide chisel tip on each of the different coloured ends, as well the dual tipped marker that has a wide chisel tip on one end “and then the other end is a finer marker tip.”
