Burlington will soon be home to one of the most modern, environmentally friendly condominiums on the market. Ironstone, by Davies Smith Developments, offers a fusion of modern design and sustainability that brings a dynamic urban sensibility to the new uptown core.

“Just by moving in, purchasers reduce their carbon footprint and lower energy costs,” says architect Roland Rom Colthoff of Raw Design. “The use of geothermal and solar thermal heat exchange systems means very little energy will be needed to heat and cool the building,” says Rom Colthoff.
Modern amenities at Ironstone include a massive rooftop terrace that brings contemporary ambience to leisure time. Lounge pods, a built-in outdoor barbecue and fireplace, relaxed seating areas and hot tub invite socializing.
Ironstone offers 210 suites including lofts and street level retail space. Some lofts have walk-outs with landscaped terraces and green roofs and other residences open onto a private raised courtyard or are accessible from the street.
“Ironstone is about the future. It’s a modern and sustainable approach to condo living that brings urban sophistication to uptown Burlington,” explains Nelson Reis of Davies Smith Developments.
“Ultimately, it comes down to a feeling,” says Reis. “We set out to create a micro-community with all the amenities where purchasers could come after a long day at the office and feel like this is where they want to be.”
