Ward Campbell, president of Starward Homes, is carrying on a 100-year family tradition along with his sister Lydia and brother-in-law Jan Szostak. They represent the third generation of home builders that began in 1906 with Campbell’s grandfather Edward Ratcliffe and continued with his parents Bettina and Charlie Campbell.

Campbell heads a company that has built thousands of homes in southern Ontario, from single-family homes for first-time buyers, to two-storey and luxury custom for baby boomers, to adult lifestyle communities and elegant bungalows for empty nesters. The quality, craftsmanship and customer service first established by the family business founder has carried on through the second and now the third generation. Campbell is proud of the company’s achievements and strives to maintain the reputation of Starward Homes as one of the best builders of new homes in the area.
