John Anthony Vanderkolk comes by his knack for kitchen design naturally. His mom, Glenda, started in the kitchen industry in 1961.Over the next 10 years she became one of the top kitchen designers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
In 1989, Glenda and her husband John opened Hanover Kitchen And Bath Gallery in North York. John Anthony was only 12 years of age at the time but showed a keen interest in design. In 1994 the family expanded to Mississauga and opened their second showroom with Tiles Plus. This showroom is one of the largest and most high end kitchen and bath showrooms in all of the GTA.
In 2003 Kitchen Designers Plus expanded again, opening their third showroom in Oakville making them the largest independent kitchen dealer in the GTA. John Anthony currently manages the Mississauga and Oakville showrooms with an additional showroom in North York.
