Bulldogs Score for Charities - more...

Jason Daleo created J-Core Marketing three years ago, as a full service agency that offers direct sales, marketing and media planning, creative design service that include video production, web and graphic design. He had the vision and the opportunity to tie in more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience including working for the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club, serving his final year as vice-president in the team’s Calder Cup winning season.

Once J-Core Marketing opened its doors, a new client-based partnership was formed with HECFI lead by Duncan Gillespie, the corporation’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Gillespie and his board of directors had a vision to move the corporation into new directions and a big part of that was transforming its identity into a strong and recognizable brand not only in Hamilton but surrounding areas and beyond.

To support this brand he needed to create new revenue streams and enhance the customer experience. This led J-Core to secure all of the corporate advertising and sponsorship revenues in the 3 HECFI facilities being Copps Coliseum, Hamilton Place and the Hamilton Convention Centre. The creative services team at J-Core was also relied upon to assist with the rebrand of HECFI and worked closely with their marketing team led by Al Lutchin to produce a new logo, new television commercials, print advertising and the newly launched hecfi.ca web site.

As the partnership grew and HECFI continued its goal to create new revenue streams, HECFI arranged a deal with the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club and majority owner Michael Andlauer to assist the team by running the business operations that included marketing, ticket sales and game-day operation. This three- year agreement gave HECFI the opportunity to generate new revenues and build its partnership base in the business world and allowed Mr. Andlauer to focus on the Hockey Operations and the Bulldogs Foundation in the Hamilton community.

Jason Daleo and his team at J-Core Marketing in partnership with HECFI manage all of the business operations for the Bulldogs. They have worked diligently to engage and enhance the fan experience at the game by creating an exciting opening from the start, weekend theme-based entertainment, fundraising opportunities in the community, specialized seating such as the Hickory Dickory Deck area and the Honest Lawyer Best Seats in the House recliners situated between the teams’ two player benches.

J-Core Marketing’s offices are located in the heart of Copps Coliseum on the corner of York & Bay St. Jason has grown his client base not only with the Hamilton Bulldogs and HECFI but also works with PMA Canada, Montreal Canadiens, Budd’s BMW, Symphony Limo, Liaison College, John Howard Society, Acclamation Bar & Grill, and many others.

From a small idea of forming a sales and marketing company, Jason has been able to expand his agency from four employees on the first day of business to nine fulltime and 10 part-time staff and has quickly become a leader in the marketing industry, expanding his client base each month. The benefit to his clients is simple, J-Core is a leader in each of its departments and that allows clients to have the opportunity to work with one company to manage all of their marketing, advertising and creative needs. The client is then free to focus on what they do best in their business without distraction, allowing J-Core to focus on what they do best…Getting to the CORE of client needs.

Jason resides in Ancaster with his wife Jacqui and two sons Mackenzie and Cameron Daleo. He is proud to be part of the Hamilton community outside of business and is involved in raising money for different charities, sits on several charity planning committees and coaches minor baseball in Ancaster.
