Award-winning builder Losani Homes knows about building communities. The builder is known for successfully creating family-friendly neighbourhoods and has been recognized numerous times for this achievement. The Fairgrounds, located in the rural hamlet of Binbrook on the south side of upper Hamilton, is another example of the Losani vision come to life.

“When we started working on the vision for the community, we were overwhelmed with the whole image of fall fairs and families coming together and we quickly realized that this was the way to go. It seemed to click very nicely for us,” said Fred Losani, CEO of Losani Homes.

“We have a knack for building communities,” Losani explained. “Although we do smaller communities, our real comfort zone is creating full-blown neighbourhoods that have a character and an identity and that also have full amenities.”
One of the features of living at the Fairgrounds is its proximity to the town of Binbrook. Residents can walk to get their groceries, or to the bank and video store. And they can head to their local pub. Everything is conveniently located.
The natural features include open farm fields and tons of woodlots with plenty of walking trails. There is a 19-acre park with soccer fields and jogging tracks with a soon-to-be-installed play centre for the kids. A pavilion at the entrance to the community offers residents a place to come together and have picnics or other events.
It doesn’t end there. “We always say that what makes a true community is most of what lies beyond the doorstep of your home,” Losani said. “So we’ve brought together the elements of open spaces, split-rail fences, and red barn roof styles with craftsman-style architecture to create these beautiful exteriors.”
The result is a rare jewel of a community with lots of space for families to grow.
