HAMILTON: One more way to get to one bag of garbage each week is to do what Barb and Steve do...
We have a small compost bin under the kitchen sink lined with paper towel and every couple of days it’s emptied into the green cart in the garage. I always put a brown paper yard waste bag in the green cart so the compost doesn’t stick to the sides. The collectors appreciate that!
See your waste collection calendar, go to www.hamilton.ca/waste or call 905 546-city (2489) for even more great ideas to get to one bag
