When selling a home, an open house will give potential buyers a chance to see inside the home and “it’s a great opportunity to check out the neighbourhood”. It’s an ideal time to be purchasing a home, with low interest rates and a lot of inventory. Hammond observes that many first-time buyers are getting into the marketplace.
