Terry Bobiak knew he wanted to run his own business; he was just waiting for the window of opportunity to open.

The president of QSI Windows, Doors and Sunrooms found that opening while working in the home improvement business installing vinyl siding. A chance meeting with an entrepreneur who was attempting to introduce vinyl replacement windows was the turning point.

Since launching his independent business in 1976, Bobiak has been ahead of the curve with leading edge technology. At that time a lot of older homes were in need of replacement windows and vinyl provided a maintenance-free option. He has been a pioneer in the industry, perfecting installation techniques through the years. Bobiak has also been working to make better windows and doors, with a hand in the manufacture of the products his company installs. The "Smart Comfort" windows his company installs far surpass industry standards, for example and the process of installing doors has been vastly improved.

The products feature heavy-duty components on the inside, while on the outside, enhance the appearance of the home. The triple-glass vinyl windows, traditionally white, now come in a variety of colours and there are doors to suit any taste and architectural style.
