“We’re situated
at both ends of the city,” reports Rob Randall, service manager at Addison

shuttle service. At the Eglinton location, there are two shuttle busses on the
road from the time Addison opens at 7:30 in the morning till 5 o’clock. The shuttles are tracked with GPS to help
coordinate when and where customers need to be dropped off and picked up. For customers who need more freedom, Addison
has agreements with rental car agencies, so customers can enjoy the benefits of
using a rental car while their vehicle is being serviced. “We even have a kiosk
on site, so all the paper work can be set up so you can get your rental right
here and you don’t have to leave the dealership to pick up the car,” explains
Randall. “We try to do everything we can
to make it as convenient as possible. If you do want to wait, we have waiting
rooms with televisions and internet access.”
Aside from convenient customer service, Addison also
ensures that the technicians working on all vehicles are the highly qualified
and knowledgeable.
“We take a
lot of pride in our technicians and how qualified they are. We routinely send
them to school to get them trained on the latest and greatest technologies
throughout the year. We have one of the technicians here that has won the
General Motors Hands-On Grand Master Skills Competition ten years in a row,”
says Randall, adding that only twenty-five technician in Canada have won the
competition. “He is probably one of the
most qualified techs in the county and we’re very proud to have him.”
To help keep track of a customer’s vehicle schedule,
Addison keeps computerized records and paper copies of all services

“It does help the resale value of the vehicle and

Randal says.
