Just 27 executive homes situated on two quiet cul-de-sacs. It’s Stoneridge 27, a unique community in Ancaster being developed by Winzen.
The exclusive community is small but the lots are large, measuring from 50 by 100 feet and larger. Located on the southern end of Hamilton’s Niagara-Escarpment, the lots are arranged on two cul-de-sacs. According to Winzen C.O.O. Raymond Zenkovich, the absence of a through street makes for a quieter neighbourhood.
And while the homes are nestled in a natural setting, amenities such as schools and shopping are close at hand. There is also convenient access to Highway 403.
The European-inspired collection of finely crafted homes features eight floor plans but here is room for customization, says the builder.
” Between the models and the various floor plans and hopefully some ideas that the purchasers want in their home, we will be able to accommodate them and build a home specifically for them,” Zenkovich suggests.
Winzen homes feature hardwood floors and granite countertops. Every home is Energy Star rated, meaning it exceeds standard building codes and delivers energy savings and efficiencies. To achieve the rating, elements like insulation, windows, vapour barriers and home comfort systems are upgraded. Homeowners upwards of 30 per cent on their energy bills, says Zenkovich.
