Director of Catering, Christine Misevski, explains how
professional wedding planners are on site to assist an engaged couple with
every aspect of their special day from A to Z, “from the venue to the menu,”
the entire event is taken care of. Even the wedding cake is made on site,
completing the full catering of the entire event.
The 40,000-square-foot facility “can accommodate an event
anywhere from 10 people up to 1,200 people,” Misevski says. The second level
features smaller function space while the two beautiful ballrooms can hold up
to 300 and 1,200 guests respectively.
Each couple that books a wedding with the Hilton Suites is
offered a “complimentary suite for an overnight accommodation,” the catering
director says. “We would include a bottle of sparkling and chocolate dipped
strawberries in their suite, and we would also offer breakfast the following
morning in their suite as well or they could go down to our Essence of
Unionville restaurant for a beautiful buffet breakfast.”
Special rates are also extended to the wedding’s out-of-town
guests.
But the party doesn’t stop at the wedding. “We do many
ethnic events,” Misevski explains. From Chinese tea ceremonies to kosher
events, Hilton Suites also does bridal showers, luncheons, engagement dinners
as well as Friday night dinners for the families of the bride and groom.
