The original Thermage technology, has been improved to the point that the effects last for years. The improvement, according to Judith Finn, Director of E.C.C., is the cooling burst delivered by the redesigned Thermacool NXT System. The client is kept comfortable while the heat that facilitates collagen remodeling can penetrate more deeply, with longer lasting and noticeable results.
“When they leave, their skin hardly looks pink and you can see the lift immediately,” explains Judith.
Clients get a chance to see the transformation during the procedure. After completing one side of the face, the experienced Dermal Therapist allows the client to compare their before and after appearance. The procedure takes approximately 90 minutes, during which time the client may relax to music, a warm blanket and pleasant conversation.
The procedure can be applied to the entire face or just part of the face. The dermal therapist will create a grid of the face so that every part of the face is covered. Extra pulses are delivered to problem areas as required like the jaw line, nasal labial folds, under the chin and around the eyes.
Full effect of the treatment will take from three to six months for the collagen to rebuild and the optimum results to become apparent. Each month during that time, the client visits the centre for follow-up assessment and a photograph to document the progress.
Before any treatment is offered at the Milton clinic, clients are assessed during a complimentary consultation and the appropriate treatment is recommended. Judith says the new Thermage procedure has been performed on clients at her clinic who range in age from 40 to 73. The result is a smoother healthier and younger-look that will help to turn the clock back on aging skin.
