Founded in 1996, Liaison College is Ontario’s largest trainer of chefs and cooks and offers four diploma programs that are designed to best suit your needs.

Whether you’re interested in a Basic Cook Diploma, a Chef de Cuisine Diploma, a Specialist Chef Diploma or a Culinary Management Diploma, the Liaison College professional graduate services team guides you in making the right choice for your career.

Known for its strength of Culinary and Chef Diploma Programs, professional and qualified chef instructors and enthusiastic graduates, Liaison College in Oakville also offers a variety of themed recreational cooking classes for everyday use, kid’s camps and boot camp cooking lessons.

All instructors at Liaison College are Certified Chefs with many years of experience in the Culinary Arts and Oakville’s instructor is no exception. Chef Paul Hoag has had a lifelong passion for cooking and the culinary arts.

Chef Paul’s Red Seal preparation, expertise and commitment to lifelong learning make him a perfect fit as the instructor at Liaison College Oakville. Beginning as a dishwasher, it wasn’t long before Chef Paul worked his way up to hot line cook before working under the tutelage of World, Master Chef, George McNeill.

After five years at landmark restaurants in the Toronto area, six years wowing the public through the Liberty Grand Entertainment Empire, and cooking for celebrities like Mariah Carey, Elton John and the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles, Chef Paul brought his knowledge to Liaison College Oakville where he now passes it on to the next generation of budding chefs.
