Most women use various creams and ointments to beautify
their skin. These topical treatments just don’t go deep enough for optimum
effect.
SilkPeel Dermalinfusion
is a new treatment that delivers specialized solutions deep into the skin. This
technology utilizes a mild vacuum to pull the skin up slightly, and adds a
small amount of vibration. Combined with solutions that contain elements fine
enough to actually be absorbed by the skin, it’s like putting on a fresh new
face, instantly.
Judith Finn, director of ECC Cosmetic and Laser Centre, the
four different solutions utilized in the SilkPeel treatments are only sold by
medical laser companies. She says each solution treats a specific type of skin.
There’s a clarifying solution to treat acne. Another incorporates a new enzyme
that inhibits excess melanin which creates brown areas that can be attributed
to hormone levels as well as sun damage.
Free radicals are the target of a vitamin C solution that
functions as an antioxidant and leaves skin clearer and healthier. Hyluronix
acid is the key ingredient in the fourth formulation. The acid naturally occurs
in the skin and is used in fillers that are normally injected into the skin.
With a Silk Peel treatment, the filler is infused to a lower level but still
results in firmer, smoother skin with better tone.
The treatment takes about 45 minutes and is painless and
soothing. The results are immediate and there’s no down-time and although it
incorporates exfoliation, there is no skin irritation.
“The improvement will be long-lasting,” explains Finn.
Before any treatment is recommended at ECC, clients undergo
a complete skin assessment. Depending on the results of the microscopic skin
analysis, the innovative SilkPeel Dermalinfusion
is on e of many treatment options.
