Whether you want a simple upgrade or an extravagant install, the car audio installation team at East Hamilton Radio (EHR) can make all your listening dreams come true. According to Brad Corke, installation expert, the EHR team has seen it all.
“We recently did a Mercedes Benz that had 6 - 15 inch woofers right behind your head,” recalls Corke. This particular install was loud, hitting 155 to 165 decibels, which Corke compares to standing beside an airplane. The EHR team can also do factory installs meaning you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was a custom install. “We can make it look like it actually came with the car. We can use the different materials that the manufacturer used – different leathers, cloths, and finishes,” explains Corke.
When considering upgrading your audio or sound system, you may think it will be cheaper to try and install it yourself, but Corke says to proceed with caution.
“Your car is one of your biggest investments. There are a lot of things that need to be taken care of during an installation project,” Corke explains. All installers must be certified by the government because working with airbags and vehicle computers requires a knowledgeable technician. Another advantage to having your audio equipment installed professionally is that any damage incurred during the install will be covered by the installer, if not by the manufacturer.
The EHR underground install bay is 8,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 20 cars. Most installs are done on site, but the install team also does off site projects like audio installs on boats or heavy machinery.
