The all female team led by Dr. Kristina Zakhary offer a feminine touch that clients truly appreciate.

Dr. Zakhary may look young, but her education, training, and designations speak for themselves. She is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is also a member of the American Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, and a diplomat of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

“This means that I have passed qualifying examinations and I’ve had enough experience in surgery of the face, head, and neck including cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in order to have those designations,” explains Zakhary. With five years of head and neck surgery experience, plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery, she specializes in cosmetic surgery of the head and neck. “The face is the most visible part of our body. It’s also the most interactive part of our bodies,” admits Zackhary. “We communicate with our eyes, mouths and faces all day.”

“I think that in addition to having the required education, training, and designations, it’s important to click on a personal level with your physician or surgeon,” says Zakhary, adding that it results in a better experience. Communication between the patient and doctor is the key to a successful cosmetic treatment. By determining reasonable expectations at the beginning of the process and the procedure and risks are explained properly, Zakhary believes patients are more comfortable to ask the doctor questions.

Although Dr. Zackhary always strive to ensure that each client receives her personal touch, due to her heavy patient load, it’s not always possible. This is where Joyce Palmer, director and office manager at Ageless steps up to the plate.

“I work with the patients by arranging their surgeries and giving them any support that they need,” explains Palmer. When Dr. Zackhary is unavailable, Palmer answers any questions that may arise day to day and provides any extra attention or care that some patients might require.

The Age-less Clinic has two locations – one in Richmond Hill and the other in Calgary. Dr. Zakhary divides her time between the two clinics.
